My own domain — FINALLY!

Having a self-hosted blog and a (dot)com site address has always been my dream. Okay, so maybe “dream” is too grand a word to describe something as simple as having your own domain. But dreams don’t always have to be massive, one-day-I’ll-conquer-the-world type of goals, right?

So anyway. If you’re reading this, chances are you already know me, either personally or virtually through The Lettering Junkie Instagram/Facebook account. Either way, I’m happy that you took the time to check my new site out. 🙂

I’m a person with many interests, and I view this part of my personality as both a blessing and a curse. I’m going to write about that another day, but for now, you can expect to read a variety of stuff from this site, including book reviews, movies, travel, personal — really, anything that catches my writing fancy. Of course, there will be lots of lettering and creativity-related write ups, too. After all, that’s the thing I enjoy the most. ^_^

If you poke around longer in this site, you’d notice that I already have several posts up. I imported some contents from my previous WordPress blog because I don’t want to launch this site with only a single post published. I got the idea from Alessa Lanot during the Creative Talks 2.0 session. Alessa shared that when she made public her blog, LifeAfterBreakfast.ph, she already had 100 posts published. One hundred posts — I was really amazed with the amount of dedication, discipline and self-control it took. My existing 15 posts are nothing compared to Alessa’s 100, but the base idea was one of my favorite takeaways from that session and it stuck in my mind ever since.

I won’t make you read for longer, so I’m going to end this by saying that I only have 2 wishes for this site: one, that I will be able to post regular content; and two, that you will stick around as long as you can to read them. You being here right now is a start, and for that, you already deserve my sincerest thank you. 🙂

Enjoy your week!
